Bird Watching Curaçao

𝗕𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽
On Saturday February 19 2022 we will organize the first Bird Watching Cross Island Trip in 2022. The group assembles at 7.30 AM at the parking place of Centrum Piscadera. February seems to be a boring month for bird watching, but nothing could be further from the truth. Several wintering migratory birds can still be found on the island. Several breeding bird species are busy with their offspring.

During this trip we go to a number of (artificial) wetlands and other natural areas where we have a good chance of spotting different species of native birds as well as migratory birds of the island. This trip starts at 7.45 and lasts around 4.5 hours.

𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀: Due to the Corona measures, we will carry out this safari-like trip by allowing participants to drive in their own car. Families can of course sit together in the car. Bring your own binoculars / photo camera and keep a mouth mask handy.
